Authenticity

We guarantee the authenticity of every watch we sell, and provide a written guarantee of authenticity in a certified retail appraisal for each item. This appraisal allows you to have your timepiece insured, which we highly recommend. The watches in our inventory have never been worn, with the exception of our pre-owned timepieces (which are noted as such). Our pre-owned watches are gently worn & carefully inspected by our watchmaker to insure they are in good condition.

Warranty

For all new/unworn watches, Da Vinci Watches is responsible for the original manufacturer warranty's terms and conditions for two years from the date of purchase. For pre-owned watches, we provide a one year warranty from the date of purchase. All watches are accompanied by a warranty certificate from Da Vinci Watches which contains the item description, pertinent model and serial numbers, and retail value. Because we are not a manufacturer authorized dealer/distributor for the timepieces we sell, the manufacturer is not responsible for the original warranty. Our warranty covers the watch movement or battery replacement for the time period stated. Our warranty does not cover mistreatment, wear and tear, theft, tampered products, modified products, or lost items. All shipping and handling costs associated with warranty service are the responsibility of the customer. The customer must receive a repair authorization before shipping us the product. We recommend shipping the item via United States Postal Service Registered Mail, insured for the purchase amount. We do not cover any incoming shipments as it is the shipper's responsibility. Our warranty covers the original purchaser of the watch and is not transferable.

Serial Numbers

Da Vinci Watches only sells watches with serial numbers that are intact. Whenever possible or applicable, we will include a dealer stamped certificate containing pertinent model and serial numbers specific to their respective timepiece. Many of our certified pre-owned watches also come with the original manufacturer's certificate.

Box and Papers

The vast majority of our new/unworn watches will be accompanied with the original box, certificate of authenticity, instruction booklets, and hang tags. Appropriate accompanied items for pre-owned watches often vary. We always clearly indicate whether a watch will include box and papers.

Condition

We offer new/unworn and pre-owned watches. Unworn watches come with everything a new watch would include.

Our pre-owned watches are inspected by our watchmaker prior to being offered for sale. Virtually all of our pre-owned watches are in good condition, having no signs of wear and tear. (Except as noted otherwise in the description and in the case of some vintage watches).

Authorized Dealer

While we are not an authorized dealer for any of the brands we sell, all of our watches come directly from authorized dealers and reputable industry wholesalers. They come complete with all boxes, instruction manuals, serial numbers, and dealer stamped warranty paperwork (whenever possible or applicable). Authorized dealers must follow the manufacturer's pricing guidelines. Being independent brokers allows us to offer substantially greater discounts than authorized retailers, and participate in e-commerce.

Pricing Policy

All offers will be considered, and we will make every attempt to match any legitimate quote. Due to changing wholesale and retail prices, as well as currency fluctuations, all prices are subject to change.

Some websites may appear to be selling the same products at lower prices, however, many lower priced websites are selling either watches with tampered serial numbers, or are foreign companies based outside of the United States. Watches that have had their serial numbers removed usually have a lower resale value and may be difficult to insure. Additionally, most watch manufacturers will not service or repair a watch that has had its serial numbers removed. With foreign companies, there is a possibility of additional fees, import restrictions, fraud and difficulty with returning or exchanging.

Security

We are committed to providing a secure shopping experience to our customers:

  1. All orders completed online are processed securely through Pay Pal's website.
  2. All credit card and bank info given via mail, phone, fax, or e-mail is securely archived at Da Vinci Watches.
  3. All credit card transactions completed over the phone are thoroughly reviewed by a credit card security specialist for fraud indicators prior to processing the credit card.
  4. Any orders that have one or more potential fraud indicators may be canceled, without notice, at our discretion.
  5. All potential fraud indicators are immediately reported to the appropriate credit card issuing bank for further investigation.
  6. If your order contains any unusual circumstances that may be considered a fraud indicator, we strongly recommend that you contact us by phone to prevent delays or cancellation of your order.

Da Vinci Watches uses PayPal to process online transactions, the leading provider of internet payment methods, used by e-commerce service providers to conduct trusted and secure electronic commerce over the Internet.

We also protect your purchase by ensuring that all billing addresses are verified electronically, and all alternate shipping addresses are verified manually. Any customer requesting a shipment to an address that differs from the billing address must add this alternate address to his/her account by contacting the respective credit card company. We will verify with the credit card issuer to ensure the customer has put the address on file.

Placing an Order

Ordering Online

Once you've made your selection and would like to order your watch online, click on "Add to Cart" to proceed to checkout. Please follow the prompts to check out through PayPal or to complete your order directly through us.

Ordering Offline

You can place an order with us by calling us Monday through Friday 10 AM - 5 PM Eastern Standard Time: Toll Free at (888) 577-3999; or email us at customerservice@davinciwatches.com. To expedite your order, please have the Da Vinci ID# handy when you speak with one of our sales associates. If it is after business hours when you call, please leave a message, clearly stating your name, area code, phone number, and the item in which you are interested. If you choose to email your order to us, please include the Da Vinci ID# and your contact information.

Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment: Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover), Bank Wires, Money Orders, and all forms of Checks. American Express can only be used online through Pay Pal. For watches priced above $10,000.00, credit cards can only be used as a deposit towards your purchase. Orders over $10,000.00 must be paid in full via Check or Bank Wire. All international orders require payment via Bank Wire. No Exceptions. Please note that all prices listed and quoted are in U.S. Dollars, and all payments must be made in U.S. Dollars.

Credit Cards

For all Credit Card payments via phone and e-mail, credit card information must be provided along with billing address so the issuing bank can be verified before shipment. A scanned image of the buyer's driver's license and credit card both front and back must also be provided via fax or e-mail. The document must be legible in order to release shipment. The buyer will also need to complete additional details on the Da Vinci Watches' Credit Card and Shipping Authorization Form and provide us with the completed document. Again, the document must be legible in order to release shipment. We recommend that billing and shipping addresses should be identical whenever possible. This address should be the same address your credit card company has on file, and where you receive your statements. You may contact your credit card company to add an additional authorized address. Every address and phone number submitted to davinciwatches.com is subject to verification. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or to limit quantities on any order. Billing and identity information submitted to davinciwatches.com that is inaccurate will delay the shipment of your order. Your information will be kept secure. Online payments made through Pay Pal will be received by us promptly and your order will ship out within 48 hours of payment. We will send you a confirmation email with your order details when your shipment is processed.

Bank Wires

A Bank Wire Transfer is a specific type of electronic funds transfer where your bank sends money directly into our bank account. This method of payment eliminates credit card transaction fees and will save you 3% on your purchase. Most banks allow you to send a Bank Wire over the phone.

We accept Bank Wire Transfers for both domestic and international orders. If you would like to pay for an item via Bank Wire, your order must be completed via phone or e-mail. You will be given order details and Wire instructions via e-mail. We usually receive domestic Wire Transfers the same business day, depending on when the payment was sent; international Wire Transfers take approximately two to three business days to receive. After payment is received, your order will be shipped.

To take advantage of making a Bank Wire Payment:

  1. Place your order online and select "Wire Transfer" as you payment option, send us an e-mail, or call us toll free: (888) 577-3999. If you send us an email, be sure to include the Da Vinci ID# for the product you wish to purchase, and Shipping Details so we can accurately quote shipping and insurance charges.
  2. We will reply to your online order, email, or telephone request with the estimated delivery time for the product and the information required by your bank to initiate the Wire Transfer.
  3. Once we confirm the Bank Wire Transfer has been completed, we will ship your product and provide you with shipment tracking information.

Checks and Money Orders

All Checks and Money Orders will be held until the funds have cleared. Your shipment will be processed within 48 hours of payment clearance.

Sales Tax

All orders shipped within the state of Georgia are subject to state sales tax of 8%. We do not collect sales tax on orders shipped outside the state of Georgia.

Return and Order Cancellation Policy

Da Vinci Watches is very confident you will enjoy any timepiece purchased from us. In the event you need to return or exchange the merchandise you ordered, please read below for information on how we can further assist you.

We accept the return of merchandise that is sent in the exact same condition when it left our showroom. All refunds and order cancellations will be subject to a 5% restocking fee unless otherwise agreed by the Da Vinci Watches staff via mail, fax or e-mail. Sorry, No Exceptions. Shipping charges are not refundable. Credit will be issued in the same form as payment received.

We offer a 3 Day return privilege on our items, which allows you to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. All returns must be pre-approved by Da Vinci Watches via, mail, fax, or e-mail before you can ship the returned item. A Return For Inspection (RFI) approval code can be attained by contacting our showroom via e-mail or phone.

For purchases made outside of the Da Vinci Watches showroom, all watches must be returned (postmarked) within 3 business days of delivery in order for a refund to be given. For showroom purchases, watches can be returned within 7 business days for store credit only. If the watch is a gift and you are in need of an extension, please contact us prior to purchasing. Again, all returned merchandise must be in the exact same condition as when it left our showroom in order for a return or exchange to be possible.

We do not offer a refund or store credit for special orders (Note: All products priced $10,000.00 USD or higher are considered to be a special order). If your watch is a special order, you will be notified before the transaction is completed. All items shipped to any address outside the United States are considered to be a final sale and cannot be returned.

Please make sure to inspect your watch as soon as you receive it. Before wearing or removing any tags or factory tape, look over the watch to see that it is exactly what you requested. Once the watch has been worn, sized, or if any factory seals have been removed, we cannot accept the return.

All returns take about 1 to 2 weeks to process and for credit to be issued. The returned merchandise must be accompanied by the original invoice, or a copy of the invoice, as well as the, original box, papers, instruction booklets, hang tags, and packaging; Otherwise, the return will not be honored. After the watch is inspected and approved by our staff, a refund (or store credit if it is a showroom purchase and within 7 business days) will be given.

Return Instructions

  1. For all purchases outside of our showroom, you must obtain a Return For Inspection (RFI) code from Da Vinci Watches before shipping the merchandise. We will not accept any returned merchandise without an RFI number. Please call or email us to obtain an RFI number. Customer Service is available Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

    You will be asked to provide the following information:

    • E-mail
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Phone
    • Zipcode
    • Reason for Return Request
  2. Package your returned merchandise and be sure to include all original documentation, a copy of your invoice, and anything else that came with the watch, including box, papers, instruction booklets, etc. Returns must be shipped via United States Postal Service Registered Mail, UPS, or Fed Ex. The package must be postmarked within 3 business days of receipt. Please make sure you insure the package for the full purchase price. The RFI code must be noted on the invoice/copy inside the package. We strongly recommend you do not put the word "Watches" or "Jewelry" on the outside of the package.

    We are not responsible for lost or stolen items during shipping. Any loss or damage to the merchandise while in transit for a returned item must be recovered from the shipping courier. By entering into a purchase agreement with us, the customer agrees that in the event of loss or damage during shipment, the customer will be compensated by the insurance claim process and the customer agrees not to perform a credit card chargeback to recover such a loss.

Shipping

Shipping Policies

Da Vinci Watches ships via Fed Ex and UPS. Watches exceeding a value of $50,000.00 will be shipped fully insured via Brinks. All shipments are fully insured for the purchase price. Domestic shipping and insurance will be a flat fee of $50.00 USD. International shipping and insurance will be a flat fee of $100.00 USD. International buyers will be responsible for any import duties/taxes for their respective country. Tracking Information will be sent via e-mail, and all packages will require a signature for deliver.

The customer also agrees to assume liability for loss or damage during shipment if there is a 'Signature Release' of any kind on file for the delivery address. Packages shipped outside the United States may not be eligible for insurance coverage.

Pre-Owned Watches

Our Certified Pre-Owned Watches

We purchase only the finest contemporary and vintage watches. Our pre-owned watches are gently worn and carefully selected to insure that they are in good condition. Every watch sold by Da Vinci Watches is personally inspected by one of our owners, carefully restored by our own in-house staff of watchmakers and certified to ensure accurate and reliable timekeeping.

Certified Pre-Owned Grading Scale

We grade our pre-owned watches on a scale of 1-10. Generally, we do not sell watches that have a rating below 7.

Our scale is as follows:

  • Grade 10 - Brand new with box and papers. Unworn.
  • Grade 9 - Like new, with minute wear.
  • Grade 8 - The watch shows only minor wear. The watch has been refurbished by our watchmaker.
  • Grade 7 - Moderately worn, but well cared for. Bracelet or strap with slight wear. The watch has been refurbished by our watchmaker.

Certified Pre-Owned Warranty

Selling or Trading

Da Vinci Watches has over a decade of experience in buying, selling, and trading watches with collectors and dealers all over the world. If you are interested in selling or trading your watch with us, simply provide a few details about your watch by completing our trade/sell form. We will contact you via phone or email to discuss the value of your watch.

In terms of pricing, brand, model, condition, age, and model popularity are factors in determining the value of your timepiece. You will receive additional value if you choose to apply your trade-in towards a purchase from Da Vinci Watches.

After you have contacted us and received a Trade/Sell code, you may ship your watch to us.

After we have received your watch, we reserve the right to purchase the watch, trade the watch in and apply the credit towards a new purchase, or to send the watch back to you. If we choose to send the watch back to you, we will use Fed Ex or UPS insured for an agreeable value.
