The first workshop focused on chronographs and precision counters from the beginning. Breitling is known for creating the first chronograph in 1915 and being the first wrist instrument for pilots, a groundbreaking achievement. By 1936, Breitling was the official supplier to the Royal Air Force, and supplied the American Armed Forces by 1942.
